We’re going back to school this fall with some fave reminders of top teeth tips for tots! Ready to score an A+ in good oral health for little ones? Read this article!
It’s said, a picture is worth a thousand words. We think these pictures are worth much more, because they’re all about the good health of children! What better way to follow-up with parents on taking care of their child’s dental health than a colorful one-pager with photos?
Healthy Habits for Happy Smiles , a free resource from the National Maternal & Child Oral Health Resource Center, is an easy-to-read series in both English and Spanish that takes it slow–one topic at a time. Photos show exactly the right amount of fluoride toothpaste to put on the brush, how to hold the child to brush teeth and tips on soothing teething pain.
Parents will also find great information about choosing healthy drinks and snacks, preventing oral injuries, and finding and visiting a dental clinic with their child! Best of all, printing and photocopying is encouraged and may be done by the page or by the series.
