KISS… Keep It Short and Sweet: 2 x 2 = Smile!

This month, we’re keeping it short and sweet (to match the recommended amount of Halloween candy kids are allowed to eat!). In honor of National Brush Day on November 1, we are celebrating math that works for kids: 2 x 2.

What’s 2 x 2?

2 x 2 = a healthy smile in very young children!

That’s because 2 x 2 is the formula for success in brushing young children’s teeth, according to the American Dental Association. Brushing 2 times a day for 2 minutes with good-for-you fluoride toothpaste specially formulated for young children, along with that first well-child dental visit by age one, are the proven safe and effective ways to prevent tooth decay.

Happy Halloween (with plenty of KISSES) from the Tooth Talk team!
